As much as I’m wary of this remake, I gotta admit that this poster mock-up is pretty sweet.

Beautiful movie, beautiful poster.

What a strange little movie. The best comparison I can think of is that if the Coen Brothers got high while watching Chuck Jones cartoons and decided to make an animated movie. Depp is fantastic as Rango and the supporting voice cast is stellar, although it feels like Timothy Olyphant was a back up plan after Clint Eastwood said no.

Incredible.

This really is incredible!  I knew there were a lot of effects in Black Swan, but this is pretty mind blowing.  MOVIES ARE BULLSHIT, MAN!  Wonderful, wonderful bullshit!

Watching this movie, some of the effects are so seamless. I’m surprised it didn’t get a VFX nomination.

After watching, I hadn’t even considered how much shooting was done in mirrored studios. All of those scenes had to have the camera crew digitally erased. Insane.
